If you have ever thought ‘I would like to try that’ or you have already tried rowing out and want to build your skills and gain confidence, The Goring Gap Boat Club will be running an autumn ‘Learn to Row’ course from the 20th October to the 10th November.
Not the regatta regatta
Story in Henley Standard
Earlier this year when we were training crews for our regatta a reporter from the Henley Standard visited. The story was published a couple of weeks ago and is now on the Henley Standard website.

Regatta entry and online payment open now
Regatta entry is open for 4s and dongolas, and we have reinstated our on-line payment system, using the online payments system.
Lots of you have already entered, so don’t leave it to the last minute to enter – we are well on our way towards our limit of 50 crews!
Visit our regatta entry page now.
Site progress
Thanks to everyone who helped out over the recent weekend. Good progress was made and the site is taking shape. The new scaffolding boat racks are complete, and already supporting the larger boats. The pavilion/shed has walls and a roof – needs a door and some felt on the roof, but that’s a detail!
So what remains to be done? Well we have to complete the movement of boats, complete the pavilion, including racking for blades, and move equipment from the Oratory’s boathouse, plus all the other stuff that I’ve forgotten.
