Children/Under 18’s are allowed down at the club, however they must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. It is not acceptable for the parent/guardian to leave their child on the bank while they go rowing. Children between the ages of 13-17 can join the club as junior members and can row if accompanied by their parent/guardian in the boat. We accept the policy and procedures relating to Child Protection, as set out by British Rowing and require all members to accept them.
Our Membership Handbook is published annually online 2018 GGBC Membership Handbook ; new members are asked to read this handbook and members renewing should do the same when it is re-issued annually. It contains information about the club such as :-
- Committee contacts
- Club History
- Rowing at GGBC
- Punting Information
- Rules & Regulations
- Safety Policy
- Emergency contact details
