No rowing

As you might be aware, river conditions have worsened further over the last week.  Please assume that there is no rowing for the next couple of weeks at least.

Santa Row Sunday 22nd December 10am – 12am

Sadly – due to river conditions, we’ve had to cancel this year’s Santa Row.

For the last row of the pre-Xmas season, we have  a morning of delight and delectation planned for you!
The wine will be mulled, the pies will be mince,  the rowing will be novel (backwards, blindfold, carol singing….and much  more).
But that’s not  all……………………………. there will be competitions, great company  and a good excuse not to go Xmas shopping!
All you have to do to join in is wear your santa  hat (or reindeer antlers, or flashing lights, blingy christmassy tinselly  creations) .
We would love to see you there to wish you good  cheer and to celebrate another year of rowing with GGBC.
To make catering easier, please let Sue know if you can come – but if you’re not sure and just want to turn up on the day, that’s fine too.

Date: Sunday 22nd  December
Time: 10am til  midday
Dress code: Santa  Hat

Looking back – rowing and canoeing summer event

One of our fun events this year was a joint boating outing between Goring Gap Boat Club and kayakers from the Dolphin Club. We swapped boats and all had a go at something different.  Some of us went swimming too!
